In some rare instances, the product may just not work for you and you need to return to us. Don't worry! The following information will help you process your return:
No returned merchandise will be accepted without first discussing with IronDirect customer service. Please call our toll free number, or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to speak with a customer solutions representative to receive return instructions. No returns accepted after 30 days of delivery. In the event of a failed part, or if a repair is needed and the item is older than 30 days, the repair may be covered under the manufacturer's warranty.
We encourage you to test your new product within 10 days of receipt so we can be sure to resolve the issue. If we ship you a defective item (meaning it does not operate as it was designed to operate) let us know and we will replace it with an equivalent model. Inbound and Outbound shipping for a defective item will be paid by IronDirect. Item must be shipped back in like-new condition with original packaging. This does not cover cosmetic damage due to shipping, misuse, or improper application.
If an attachment does not fit your prime mover and you provided the correct details on the order form (make/model/front end/custom modifications/etc.) IronDirect will correct the issue with your new & unused attachment. Inbound and outbound freight to be covered by IronDirect. Please be sure to fill out the make/model/front end information as accurately as possible. IronDirect may contact you after placing the order for additional information. Listing incorrect or incomplete information may void the fit-up guarantee. If attachment does not fit due to incorrect or missing information, IronDirect will work with you to re-work your attachment, you will be responsible for freight to and from your location, and rework fees if applicable.
If after discussing with an application expert, your product still fails to meet your expectations, that product can be returned within 30 days of delivery, but will be subject to a 20% restocking fee to cover depreciation, testing, cleaning and repackaging expenses. Alternatively, you can return the product and receive 100% store credit on IronDirect.com. Store credit never expires. For any returned product, you will be responsible to ship the product to IronDirect using the most convenient method for you. If needed, IronDirect can help arrange freight and deduct the actual freight expense from your total refund.
An order that has shipped cannot be cancelled. If you refuse an order which has already been shipped, you will be responsible for both the outbound and return shipping costs. There may be a restocking fee (up to 20%) on any order cancelled prior to shipment.
Custom Built-to-Order Items
Unless the product is defective, there are no returns allowed for products which have been specially built for you and shipped by the manufacturer.
Any damage due to improper installation is the responsibility of you or your installer. A warranty claim can be made, but it is up to the discretion of the manufacturer if they will cover any costs associated with an incorrect installation.
Take the time to inspect the products before you sign the delivery receipt from the carrier. If you sign the delivery receipt without notating any damages you will be responsible for filing a freight claim and arranging for repair or return of the damaged product. If the product arrives obviously damaged, refuse the delivery and notify IronDirect immediately. If it looks like the product may have slight damage, notate on the delivery reciept "Possible Freight Damage" while the drive is present.
